Actually Hinda, one of those adorable little "tanorim" did in fact burn the place down the year before we started 11th grade. My brother Satch's class survived the "great fire of 1973" but lost most of their personal possessions unfortunately, and had to move to the (then) field school dorms.
The following year, they moved back to the old dorms. We were also in those rooms in 12th. Don't you remember the tiled floors with no walls we used to sit on? Those were once the dorms!
So much for safety regulations in the 70's in Israel...

Awesome photo. It appears as though Moses has been vigorously working into tip top shape for pending reunion. Keep it up dude.

Isn't this where the expression, "we're all batcos on this bus came from?"

I didn't realize that 'cloning' was a happening thing with humans at that time. Maybe the real reason that we were living in SB, in the middle of nowhere, was because we were unknowingly part of some secret cloning experiment...and maybe that nuclear reactor in dimona was doing more than just glowing in the dark. Hmmmmmm? Very interrrrresting!

Is this a picture from then?
Moses, did you have a beard and short hair then?
Nope, don't think so.

Great picture of Beth. Love the naughty look on Donna's face. Joseph with his perfecty styled hair.
By the way, I noticed a very strange thing about lots of these pictures from those days. Could it be that they have faded or yellowed with age, or did everyone's hair color become the same color after a while? Maybe it was the Negev sun, or.......some mysterious energy ....or....we just didn't use enough shampoo.

Ethan Matlaw just directed me to this page. I think that's me in the front middle with the glasses. It looks like I was taking the picture.

if you can't bring Moses to the mountain bring the mountain to Moses. Or is that supposed to be Mohammed instead of Moses? Can't remember, pre-alzheimer's perhaps.

Where have you been TZVI (Bob)? I couldn't find you in Jerusalem this past summer. Will we see you this year? DO you have a new e-mail address? All 4 of us were in ISrael and we had a marvelous time. Liz is counting the days til we return! (she is almost 20!) I want to go to the Galil this trip. Have you heard of Vered Hagalil? We love horses!
Please e-mail me! Your old friend.... Eeris
